Tumor is a serious disease that threatens human health and has high mortality. Chemotherapy the most commonly used treatment, but it lot of side effects due to its toxicity. It been found ginsenosides exert an effective antitumor role. Ginsenosides are class triterpenoid saponins primarily in plant genus Panax. Many monomer components studied, often investigated Rg3, Rh2, etc. Reports have shown can inhibit tumor cells by suppressing proliferation metastasis, promoting apoptosis. In addition, enhance sensitivity conventional chemotherapeutic drugs. this review, recent articles about anti-tumor were reviewed promote further development therapy.
